Journey to Australia with this hearty Garlic BBQ Steak Bowl, featuring tender steak bites, roasted potatoes and corn, caramelized onions, smoky BBQ sauce, and sweet pineapple. It’s rich, savory, a little sweet, and built for big flavor.
Ingredients
For the Steak
Sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Butter
Garlic
BBQ sauce
Salt
Black pepper
For the Bowl
Potatoes
Corn
Onion
Smoked paprika
Oil
Salt
Black pepper
Pineapple slices
Instructions
Toss the potatoes and corn with oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Roast at 425°F until the potatoes are browned and tender, about 25–35 minutes.
Meanwhile, slowly cook the sliced onion in butter until soft, golden, and caramelized.
Season the steak with salt and pepper and sear over high heat.
Add butter and garlic near the end of cooking and toss until the steak is coated.
Add the BBQ sauce and cook just long enough to glaze the steak.
Build each bowl with roasted potatoes and corn, caramelized onions, and garlic BBQ steak bites.
Finish with a few pieces of pineapple.
